Our Rates
Sandhills First Steps is a full time program, offered Monday-Friday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm. We also offer part time, drop ins and after school as available. Discounts will be given for part time children who attend 3 days per week. Please contact the director for the discounted rates.

Curriculum

It takes a big heart to shape little minds...
Sandhills First Steps uses Beautiful Beginnings Curriculum for ages 6 weeks-36 months (3 years old). Beautiful Beginnings is a Developmental Curriculum for Infants and Toddlers. It provides an approach that helps teachers build on children's strengths and interests, support emerging developments, and encourage progress in areas of concern. The curriculum provides "Experiences," organized by children's ages, in eight areas of development.
Sandhills First Steps uses A Year of Playing Skillfully Curriculum for ages 3-7. A Year of Playing Skillfully is a wonder based, developmental school-year curriculum designed for children ages 3-7. Concrete themes and character traits have been carefully chosen for children to explore. Research-based learning opportunities address the needs of the developing brain in the following areas: Language and Literacy, Math and Manipulatives, Science and Sensory, Art and Music, Gross Motor and Outdoor Play, and Social-Emotional and Home Life.
